Possibly so but the answer is stall the same - my business, not theirs.
I once knew a person like that. I laughingly said to her âYou want to know a lot donât youâ
It stopped her in her tracks. She laughed & said âYes I am a bit nosyâ
She was ok after thatâŠ
I always answer. If someone asks me anything I consider them as being friendly. Not that it happens very often.
People arenât nosy in my country and asking questions related to finances is considered very brazen and vulgar here.
Even making assumptions about oneâs financial situation is considered extremely arrogant and impolite hereabouts.
In general though, I canât guide you as Iâm far too polite with people. Iâm not very direct.
If people are rude and not have the manners not to ask personal questions that are simply not relevant to the conversation or the relationship, I donât feel obliged to answer with anything but a quick gaze at them and say, " Itâs not a question that has any place in our conversation."
That usually takes care of it.
