Usually on holiday. When I was working in IT I went skiing Now just disappear to the Arctic

Should I be singing “Happy birthday to my pal, to my pal, to my pal”?
Today?
Because I’d be glad to, and you’ll be glad you can’t hear it.

I don’t celebrate my birthday anymore, I just think ‘eek! another year gone by. :grinning:

My children and grandchildren always send cards and give me presents and Mr M always gives me a lovely bouquet of flowers - that’s as far as it goes! :grinning:

It’s a great idea to plant a tree for your birthday! My birthday is on 28th July. I usually have a party with my friends to celebrate. My mother always makes my favourite chocolate cake. Everyone sings the “Happy Birthday” song, and then I make a wish and blow out the candles. Next, we enjoy the cake, and I open all my gifts. My father marks my height on the door every year. It’s fun to look at the marks later. Next time, I also want to do something different. Any good ideas?

You sure your legit over fifty  :icon_wink:

Nothing wrong with measuring things if that’s your inclination.
My birthday is on the horizon so to speak.
I have plans! :+1:

It would be interesting to see measurements from 2 to 20 years on one side of the door frame. From 50 till death us do part on the other. Fade in/fade out.

Whisper. Only 13yrs now. Before The King does similar.
 All da way 2 Kingdom Come. E  >>

Hi, Maggie, and welcome!

My birthday is in early in the year, so it is often forgotten since everyone is so busy breathing a collective sigh that the holidays (here - Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the new year celebrations). That’s fine with me because I have decided that I get to deduct a year every time it is overlooked :sunglasses:

We decided long ago to save money for vacations instead of filling closets and dressers with obligatory gifts . That has led to a lot of adventures and great memories that don’t take up space .

Gung Hei Faat Choi.

I did indeed, check, check, check…thanks for that! Did you know that BMI calculators don’t take into account muscle mass? That means that a fit person could actually have a higher BMI than an unfit person. A better measure of fitness is…volume and density.

I am not sure it would be advantageous to male life expectancy to ask a woman for her volume or density. :flushed:!
