I’ve just watched the first episode of this prequel to Game of Thrones. Must say I have mixed feelings about it. Starts incredibly slowly, then picks up with some good scenes of action. Plenty of familiar Brit faces in it. My heart sank when I saw Bill Paterson as a Nobleman, he of numerous voiceovers, and other bits of fluff, all done in the same flat Scottish monotone. I’ll stick with it, but it’s not nearly as good as Game of Thrones.
Still plenty of blood and violence .
GoT was far better, with strong characters from the very start…and witty as well.
Not a fan of House of the Dragon…it’s obviously a money spinner (trying to be), but fails on all counts.
Not for me, sorry.
Never mind the blood and violence, what about the nudity and sex?

Haven’t seen it yet but looking forward to doing so.
As a GoT fan, I looked forward to this. HotD started a little slow and picked up later. But this is only the first episode and sometimes a series will take a little while to bed itself in. In the meantime, I will watch it and make my mind up later if it’s worth the effort of watching.
