have you tested your central heating to make sure it all works? leaving it until winter really sets in, central heating engineers will be in big demand. Just done a quick check with ours even though just been and had a boiler check.
Are the radiator warming up or is one still cold? if so could be just down to an air lock. this is an easy fix by just loosening the top radiator tap , listen to the air escaping. when no more air heard and water dribbles out then tighten the tap and job done
Basically yes but don’t forget to check the water pressure and fill up the water lost while bleeding the radiators.

Mine is gas warm air & I’m using it already, but I will get the man to come & check it soon.
My winter heating is a fan heater, if it fails I will wander down the shops to buy another.
We got back from Portugal a couple of nights ago, now got CH scheduled to come on 05:45-06:15. That’s enough to warm the place nicely, any more throughout the day and I operate it manually.
Rads don’t need any air released. Water pressure increased from 0.5 > 1.0 Bar.
