Hi from The Great White North

I am a bit (okay, more than a bit) of a homebody who is normally kept busy with fulltime work and household chores. My oldest daughter is pushing me to be more social for the sake of my mental well-being (she worries about me), so I thought I would break out of my introvert shell a bit and join a forum or two.

Winter has arrived in The Great White North (aka Canada), so the lawnmower has been swapped out for the snow shovel and snowblower.

Welcome and welcome, no need for the ‘sorry’ Canadians are quite civilised even if you have an odd taste in Prime Ministers and some of you want to be French, which is really weird.

Hello Brett. Welcome to the forum.
I hope you enjoy it here.

Hello Brett  a warm welcome to Over50sForum…

Hello Brett  welcome…

Hi Canadian

Welcome to the forum. No need to apologise. Most of us Brits can’t tell the difference between a Canadian and an American.

Welcome and why the sorry?
There is a fellow Canadian that posts at The Candy Bar in the private section.
Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to OFF, i like Canadians, and would love to visit the wilder areas of Canada.

Hello Brett, welcome to our forum, we are a friendly bunch on here, so just jump in and start chatting.

Welcome to the forum - it’s a friendly bunch on here.

Welcome.

Good evening Brett matey and welcome.

Hello and a very warm welcome to you.

The ‘sorry’ was a bit of humour. People always joke about how polite Canadians are and when, for example, somebody bumps into a Canadian, the Canadian will say “sorry”. Truth be told, that is the truth…many of us do apologize when someone bumps into us or the such.

I have not been to the private section yet. Next on my to-do list, I suspect.

Hi and welcome Canadian just jump in and enjoy yourself. I love a Canadian Club now and then but i always tend to spoil it by adding an American Dry.

Self Moderated is where The Candy Bar is.

well, well, well…another Canuck here Welcome, Welcome, Welcome…waving at you from Ontario

You will like it here Brett even though they do talk proper English

Welcome

And the Brits are great at apologising as well, and as for talking proper English.:lol::lol::lol:
