My account is not quite active but hopefully this will soon be resolved, not being very computer literate when it comes to going through the process of joining ,passwords etc I guess it could well be an age thing.
I am seventy six years young & have recently been on Friends reunited which I found to be an excellent site plus I did get to learn a little more about social media etc. Unfortunately this site is due to close in the near future so hence my interest in this forum which on having a bit of look at in the past couple of days seems to be a very interesting social media site covering a lot of senior discussions etc.
I look forward to being a part of it.

I’m in sunny Queensland on the other side of the map of Aus.
Be aware that this site is fairly top-heavy with Poms - with a smattering of Yanks and Aussies and a few exotics from Sweden, Spain etc.
Mostly human.

A very big thankyou to all of your well wishes for my first attempt, it looks as though I am successful at last, these senior moments can be a bit of a pain in the butt at times, briefly I am retired after sorts although not enough hours in a day to fit everything in.
Born in Littlehampton Sussex 1939,family of five kids, met my wife to be Patricia who was an Arundel lass, married in 1961,moved to Glastonbury / Meare in Somerset in 1963 had two boys, paid out ten pounds and emigrated to Perth W Australia in Feb 1968,increased the family with another boy ( a dinky di Aussie ),have now been here for 48 years and loving it. Currently we are planning a big holiday to the UK leaving 29th May until the 12th August,we have the tickets as I speak. Interested to see what week the UK summer is this year, hopefully it will fall somewhere in between those dates. Our time is now just after midnight so I will continue this post tomorrow.Once again thanks heaps for the welcome.
