Hi everyone, hope you are all doing ok. Not used to forums so I thought I’d give this one a try as hubby is WFH and taking over the kitchen and kettle. I have a flask of coffee and a sarnie with me - can’t go into the kitchen until later (hopefully he will make dinner while he is in there, haha!)
Living in Scotland, under lockdown restrictions (as I’m sure many of you are) so looking for a chat and a giggle hopefully.
My username came from an online name generator and made me laugh, so I thought I’d use it here.
Hope you are all staying safe x
Hi ya Pixie knuckles (great name) Welcome to the forum.
Hiya Pixie Knuckles sorry, couldn’t help myself.
Hello Pixie from Scotland x
Hello Pixie a warm welcome to Over50sForum…
Hi Pixie and welcome, I hope you enjoy your time on Over50sForum.
Thank you so much for your welcomes! I honestly thought I would get email notification of any replies, so checked in here just in case my intro didn’t post properly. Delighted to meet everyone here. Off to browse around now and familiarise myself (aka: Doing my nosy!)
Hi Pixie & welcome to the forum.
Hello and welcome Pixie Knuckles.
Hello Pixie welcome…
Welcome PK !
Have you managed to get dinner on the go as yet!
Hello. Love the name!
Thank you guys! Its lovely to be here
Nope! Takes me all my time to sneak in a grab a biscuit with my coffee! Hoping hubby might make his famous curry later on - need the comfort food!
Hi from me too…
hi pixie…welcome
Hello Pixie.
May I borrow your thread to wish you and all the new members a very warm welcome, I’m a lazy old devil and it would take me too long to do it individually.
It’s great to see fresh ‘faces’ and I hope you all manage to blend in nicely.
Most of you seem to know each other already and that’s a great help for all of you.
I find that the vast majority here are nice helpful people, but no doubt you’ll find out for yourself soon enough.
Welcome again and enjoy the forum.
Hello Jem, and thank you for your welcome! I don’t know anyone here but I gather a few fled here from further afield. Anyhow, I’m loving it here - everyone has been so welcoming and cheery. Its nice to have some chat through the day…the dog is lovely but not much of a conversationalist, and my husband is in the kitchen doing his work, so yes. Delighted to be here!
