Hi. As you might have presumed, I am a yoga practitioner from Florida (have been practicing for 15+ years) who also runs, and, now in my 50s, I’m experiencing the “Ouch! My hip hurts” and “What is THAT?” (gallstones!) and so on.
I work full time and probably will for many more years. My husband is retired, and we are into dog rescue, although we are slowing down a bit in order to enjoy traveling a little more.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone. We are finding it harder and harder to make friends at this age (I’m not sure why), although we’re fairly active in our community. I can post about that elsewhere.
Welcome to the forum
First off, I love yoga and do it almost every morning
I use the DVD’s Namaste by Kate Potter. It’s my favourite yoga series
I’m also really into DOGS. We currently have two and they are pure joy
I’m in my late 50’s retired but my husband is younger and not retired yet. We are from Canada but I’ve been to Florida and really like it.
Looking forward to your posts
Hi, Susan. I am also Susan, also from Florida, also involved in dog rescue (have four rescues of my own) also a practitioner of yoga, though most of my fitness time is spent running or surfing.
I keep saying I’m going to take up yoga, I must do it instead of just talking about it, I hear it is so beneficial to our health.
I holidayed in Florida in 1992 and I will never forget it as long as I live, we had the time of our lives, certainly a holiday of a lifetime, hopefully one day we will be able to go back.
I’m waving at you from here in Yorkshire, England.
