I’m Joanne and I’m happy to have found you! I’m a native New Yorker now living in Florida with my family. I’m married for 24 years, mom to three, mom-mom to two grand babies (we have custody), pet mama to four cats + a 22 yr old iguana.
My husband and I are both self employed and also own a rental property next door to our home. I’m also a blogger and my husband is an independent merchandising contractor.
I’m a pescatarian, unschooling parent, animal lover, photo-taker, agnostic, Libertarian and adoption advocate. My husband and I adopted our three children soon after moving from NYC to Florida. We adopted a multiracial, older sibling group that had been in foster care for four years. They were 4, 7 and 11 when we adopted them. I unschooled them for 11 years and my youngest, who lives at home, “graduated” at 17 two years ago. I plan to unschool my grand babies.
