Funny but depressing article on how nowadays a failed politician has supporters who re-write history to portray the failure as, in fact, a betrayal. Of course Truss and Johnson feature large, but Corbyn also gets a mention. All failed. All (maybe not Jeremy just yet) want a come back. So let’s re-write their dismal tenure as brilliant, and if it wasn’t for (insert enemy of choice - media, other MPs, etc.) they’d still be brilliant today.
Failures such as these should try to be a bit more honest with themselves. Not likely though.
You can add Trump to your list if you’re going beyond the UK.
