Have you grown more confident in your senior years?
Or were you more confident in your youth.?
Which areas are you more confident in?
Or maybe you have lacked confidence in areas as you’ve gotten older?

gotten???
I must admit I’ve gotten much more confident around men as I’ve gotten older, …they used to terrify me at one time…,
Some youngsters are so confident, I had no confidence as a youngster.
So for me, confidence came late in life.
Gotten? Why not? According to Suzie Dent (Countdown), “gotten” was the accepted past tense of “to get” in the UK before those “damned Yankies” took it upon themselves to appropriate it.
The only time I lacked confidence was when I had to stand in front of more than about 20 people to give a presentation - more especially so if I had to stand at a lectern because there wasn’t a wireless microphone available.
Oh crikey. a presentation, my son has to do those.
Surely confidence grows after the first one,Percy?
Gotten it is and gotten it will stay,.".or even gottin……
I’ve gotten real confident in my senior years…
I have never shown a lack of confidence (job training). I seldom have a lack of self-confidence, when I do I assure myself that I am I highly capable. I say that as I have come across little in life I could not handle to this point. What the future holds…break out the tarot cards.
I bet you couldn’t “Handle Me”…
So you say…
Now there’s a gauntlet thrower if ever there was …
Really?? This place is so educational!
I’ve got the confidence if you have?..
I have confidence in my abilities at work and in other arenas I consider important to me or hold dear.
I do struggle for confidence around strangers, especially mid sized to larger groups and often over compensate, becoming a bit too extroverted or over the top
I amaze myself at how confident “ I’ve become “…,i can actually walk into a bus shelter in Basingstoke and shout, has the Newbury link gone, I always get an answer.…plus a few stares,
I guess I’ve grown out of being in fear ,of what others think, …it can hold you back, it’s overcoming the…” will I look stupid” mindset…imo, you’ve got to grow and find your own confidence…I also drown out what i class as the negatives from others…I am me, which took many years to find.
Oh I have no problem looking stupid
Me neither, I embrace it…
I’m also confident enough to know, that Danny has done a “ runner”…
