Having coffee at a McDonalds

Who would have thought it, KPI’s at McDonalds? that would make me annoyed, one should at least be on Min wage + 50% before KPI’s kick in!!

I’ve never seen the attraction of McDonald’s, just don’t get it. The worst example I saw was in Madrid some years back. You could smoke and buy cheap beer to go with whatever delights you choose to eat. Not only was there the usual debris left all over the tables but fag ash and smelly beer spillages…class!

Chilli, we are talking driving through, not nipping in to absorb the ambience.

Glad I don’t drive spitty :wink::+1:

Surely the way to avoid having to hear customers behave immaturely is to go get your coffee in a more grown up coffee shop.

There seems to be people like that all over the place Bretrick.
Entitled ignorant cretins.

They do ruin it for everyone simply out for a peaceful time.
Unfortunately they are everywhere. No getting away from that fact.

Very true Bretrick.
They show themselves up to be just what they are,as i wrote above.

To be fair Macca’s coffee is pretty good (certainly as good as any chain coffee) since they introduced McCafe in Australia and employed a barista. Not only that if you are a pensioner you get it free (same at Hungry Jacks).

I used to buy their 50c Ice cream and ask for a seniors coffee and throw away the ice cream but, alas, they got wise to that.

Australians are coffee snobs, Starbucks went broke here selling expensive, inferior coffee - I suspect Costa would too.

Not really probably, won’t stop the culture vultures.

I prefer my own coffee. I add two whole green cardamom pods to the electric mill when grinding the beans for a little intrigue and depth of flavour.

And I ain’t even cultured!

Guaranteed to open the sluices at both ends.

There is a commonality between Coffee and Curry, they both stink.

Noooo!
Green cardamom isn’t hot and spicy, it imparts a fresh, zingy and slightly perfumed flavour.
Nothing vindaloo about my brew forum people :+1:

I would much rather suffer a pint of Peroni.

I had a cheese and tomato sarny.
Note to self…Next time slice the Tomato, that way it remains part of the sandwich and doesn’t roll across the floor.
