Having babies - men

Try reading the op before jumping in with a smart arse reply Pauline .

I did read the op, it said nothing about him running a country…
He’s the head of a family and deserves a break.
He’s on holiday which he’s entitled to…and as Art has just said he has not long had a bereavement.

Anyway I’m out of here, I’ll leave you to argue with yourself,

Plus, the man is recently bereaved.

Lots of people bereaved because of Covid, it’s sad for everyone who’s lost someone but no worse for Johnson than everyone else

If he got what he deserves it certainly wouldn’t be a holiday, unless it’s one at His Majesty’s Pleasure

Irresponsible of him to bail out to Marbella at these very difficult times, I think, and rubbing it in for those struggling on reduced Universal Credit

“Just had a baby” may well mean men are sleep deprived or stressed, although not usually as much as the mum, but it’s just life, isn’t it?

Other people may also be suffering set backs and life changing events far worse than becoming a dad that make them sleep deprived and stressed Being a dad is a happy thing, I don’t see why it’s an excuse for anything

And no, men don’t “have babies” the women do that.

Unless a woman is asexual then if it weren’t for men, there wouldn’t be any babies in the first place!

Yeah, but they still don’t “have them” as in give birth to, inseminating is not so strenuous it requires a holiday!

Not to mention growing and carrying a baby human inside you for 9 months…no man could cope with that!

Ah, but some of us would like to experience growing another wee human inside us …note, I did say some of us :hugs::sparkling_heart:

Overheard conversation between my brother in law and my uncle.
My brother in law told my uncle “We’re having a baby!” My uncle looked at my 4 month pregnant sister and told my brother in law “I don’t know what this we shit is , looks like your part is done.”
True story.

Remember this was late 60s early 70s. Mind sets were a little different.

I hope they have a good time & come back relaxed and revived.

We don’t want a tired & stressed PM do we?

Why not it’s a freebie from his mate Zac Goldsmith .
Its all in the spirit of levelling up levelling up Johnson style that is ,
What we want is a proper PM not the self seeking buffoon we have .

I hope he stays there and we get a decent person in to replace him!

I certainly don’t see why he should get to be “relaxed”, he doesn’t deserve to be and not many of the rest of us can be, given the current state of the country

If he must come back, I hope he comes back tense, tired, scared and facing the reality of our situation to encourage him to do something about it

When my ex was breast feeding ours during the night, I was up making her a cup of tea.
