How fabulous! But it looked a bit scary when they dived down so near to that small boat!
We often have pods of dolphins swimming along with our boat like that, and it is wonderful, but if those huge whales suddenly appeared beside us in a small boat, I’d be scared of being accidentally overturned!
I know it’s unlikely for the whales to make a mistake but it has been known for them to try to surface beneath a small boat and overturn it.
