Have you forgotten to scan an item from your trolley?

Perusing the trolley I espied 2 avocados I purchased from the grocer across the way.
The checkout spy in the sky also espied the two avocadoes.
I could not proceed until I notified the checkout assistant.
I gave a courteous wave to the camera.

No, I didn’t but one item was so lightweight that the scales wouldn’t recognise it after I’d scanned it. The checkout assistant saw it by chance and cleared it.

I hit the scales if an item is too light,works fine.

I avoid self check out when I can. There’s usually some exception that the machine won’t understand, and there’s no way to explain. Easier to let the cashier worry about it. Then again, I haven’t been in a grocery store for a while. I only get deliveries now.
