Have you ever had the thought that you wish you were the opposite gender?

Real men don’t ask for directions. I can’t name a single historical explorer that stopped and ask for directions.

Actually, I can. Lewis and Clark and I’m sure a few others had guides.

Since the sat nav isn’t that conversation a thing of the past?

It was rarely a conversation in OZ, for example there are two roads to WA and they are over a 1000km apart, you would never have to decide between them. The only discussion might be whether the road was open or not - short and sweet.

Edit:

No, on second thoughts while I was waiting to pick up my car at its last service the two other blokes waiting were droning on about their bloody caravans and where they had been with them (undoubtedly at 20 or 30kph below the speed limit).

I have always enjoyed being a man, an if reincarnation is a thing, and I came back a woman, I’d be a lesbian.

I enjoy being a man, I also enjoy wearing colourful lady’s neck scarves and silk cravats, have done since the 60s, my way of keeping in touch I suppose.

Why ever would I want to be a woman? I could never make love to a man…But If I had the chance, I would make love to every woman in Yorkshire (managed quite a few when I was single :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)…and beyond…

I’m a believer in diversity, we all are different, just respect others as you would have them respect you.

Thank you for being so open and honest Bretrick

Although I’ve never wanted to change gender myself, now you mention it, and after reading some of the replies, I do think it would be fascinating and educational and if it were an option perhaps everyone should try it for a day or two. Perhaps especially those who think the other gender is lessor or inferior or have got it easy etc. It would be good to dispel myths and prejudices and could lead to better understanding and respect of each other.

Definitely getting the ‘man doth protest too much’ vibe there Bob :081:
