A really nice chip sandwich. Thick crispy chips in fresh thick bread, layered with slightly melted dairy butter.

I’ve had a hankering for a Jacobs Cream Cracker for nearly 20 years but couldn’t find any here.Luckily stumbled upon Arnott’s Sao which are close to being the same thing. :grinning:

I’ve seen a lot of people chase that ‘perfect hit’ and end up burning themselves out. Sometimes pacing and cleanup are underrated.

A Clarkie (Clarks Pie)

The exact recipe of the pie filling is a closely guarded secret containing beef, vegetables and gravy. Unusually for a pie, the pastry is thick enough not to require a foil tray.
Knives and forks are not required; the pastry is thick enough to pick up and eat in the upright position without crumbling or getting soggy.
That’s very handy when you are eating it with chips walking home from the pub.

I’m a dipper and love the juices in a bowl with me,
Fritos and a toasted Bago to sop up the juices.

Fritos answer a lot of questions too!

My hankering today was for some pickled beetroot. I was delighted to find I had a jar in the fridge which I had forgotten about.
I had some for lunch with a slice of cheese and onion quiche … it really hit the spot …:yum::+1:
