Have you ever been in the middle of an argument and realized you're wrong?

You’re in an argument and suddenly realize you’re wrong.

What would you do?
  • Admit you’re wrong.
  • Double down on the wrong thing.
  • Walk away or pretend you didn’t say anything.
  • Pretend you were on the other side all along.
  • Blame the other person for tricking you.
  • All of the above, sometimes in rapid succession.
  • None of these.
  • Argument? Never been in one in my life. (for the liars)

“Wrong” is such a relative expression ……

I’m prepared to admit that I’ve made a mistake, I genuinely think that others respect sincerity.

Other wise there’s the risk of losing trust and credibility.

Hi

Yes.

The first time it happened was about 20 minutes after I put the ring on her finger when we got married.

Two wifes later , it was still the same.

I may have my faults but being wrong is not one of them.

Yes! It happened just today.
When I think of rules, I consider that they are made for everyone equally. Today somebody proved to me why this isn’t necessarily so and they pointed out why. In this case , the rule did not apply. I was WRONG and admitted so as soon as I realized it. It was a real learning experience

On the whole I would admit I was wrong …but not with everyone depends if they are the clever clogs type…might dig my heals in with them and stick to my guns even though I was wrong…just because I can if I want

Yes, I have and that was because the other one didn’t state the source correctly he based his main argument on. Being “wrong” was relative. Different source, different argument.

If you argue correctly you’re never wrong.
