Hi Omah
Thanks but no. It was a punk band called The Cramps … silly me. They put on some show.
I’m a bit too young, or a late starter missing out on the late '60s blues rock. Well I enjoyed the music but missed out on the gigs. Early Zep, Peter Green’s FM, Hendrix …

Yes have been to a lot over the years, started when I was 14 when most of my school class travelled to Dundee to the Caird Hall to see The Beatles.
If that was at the Apollo I was probably there.
I know what you mean:cool:
My favourite of all was Hawkwind “In search of space” tour
I have been to lots of John Denver concerts over the years, also several by Status Quo. Got in the latter for free, as Daughters Partner knew the sound man very well. We were in the middle bit where all the equipment was.
I paid to see JD.
The biggest concert I’ve been to was David Bowie at Murrayfield in 1983 - I was 17. I also saw Dylan at the SECC in 1989.
I prefer much more intimate indoors performances, though. Both Al Stewart and Donovan were great at the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh which has great acoustics.
Once - during my heavy drinking days - I came to at a Tom Jones concert at Edinburgh Castle. It was my Birthday, too, and I’ve no memory of buying a ticket or making my way in.
I forgot to say Julie Felix, saw her several times when she first came to England to perform. It was in my folk/jazz era, also went to a lot of jazz concerts. Acker Bilk, Johnny Dankworth etc.
I love outdoor concerts in large parks etc. I have been to many, mostly country and western singers, but I do love the big bands also…
That must have been a fantastic experience. I bet there are few on here who actually saw the Beatles in concert.
Very nice video. I like violins.
Rolling Stones - Glasgow
I do believe it was the Apollo … Mick Taylor era.
The Who, with Alex Harvey supporting, was outdoors.
I was living in Edinburgh at the time and used to go to the Usher Hall a lot.
Me too Ffosse, they are my very favourites…
I also love piano music.
I haven’t been to a pionist concert or violin, but I would love to…
Here is a pionist I like…the only one I have really paid much attention to…This is Peter Bence…I think you would enjoy him, he is a little different.
Has anyone who has been in Vegas (a little older than most of you I know), but wondering if anyone seen any of the older groups? And how about Cher or Celine Dion, they have been in Vegas many times.
When was Frank Sinatra’s era?
Oh Tiff, she is great…Early morning rain…lucky you.
Hi Right Now…I was fortunate enough to see both Tom Jones and Paul Anka with my hubby at The O’Keefe Centre in Toronto…in the mid 60’s…both were awesome shows…
