What’s on your mind?
Is there anything you want to share with members?
I think it is time for me to have a break from society.
I have booked a week off work mid July.

Enjoy the break Bretrick…we all cover up stuff when we want to… just paint a different picture, that is how I cope I find humour as a life savour… life twists and turns on us sadly in Truth

ahhhh a break from society… the other day, I went for a drive…and then a walk along one of the few remaining bogs… it’s a lovely spot… very quiet… Our first nations people use the plants in the bog – blueberries, cranberries, labrador tea. We even have a tiny carnivorous plant that grows near the moss.

When you get to your week off, hope you enjoy it wherever you are.

Guess People need People…not all of them, just a few selective ones I think…
Certain of one fact…a few on here are horrid :alien:…most are real nice… :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:.

Luckily, I haven’t had any interactions with the horrid ones here… phew! Thus far, it’s been a pleasant experience here. (I’m from Buzz50 and when it shut down, I was looking for another place–a number of us migrated here)

I make a lot of cakes and biscuits…more of a hobby than eating them…name one and I maybe find a great recipe that’s easy…

I too have avoided the horrid ones. I sometimes see some members being obnoxious and trying to upset people. Avoid those at all costs. Very few of them here though.
I am also from buzz. Been here a little of 12 months now.

How wonderful that you are taking a break from it all! Vacations and staycations are both good for the soul and educational for the mind. What are you plans?

(You don’t really want to know what’s on my mind right now. It’s as crowded as rush hour on Friday afternoon in there :sweat_smile:.)
