My hair is fair and fine, light brown really and I haven’t gone grey yet, touch wood. My hair has gone a little thicker now with age of which I am very thankful as it’s always been flyaway I have always kept my hair short as I have never been able to grow it, hated that inbetween stage.
I had highlights put in at the hairdressers one time and you just coudn’t tell I’d had anything done as they didn’t show up or take, so I have never bothered with colour again. I would never attempt to colour it myself either.
I’m sad to hear your problems with your eyes, I hope they can do something to help you. I have early stage cataracts and although the optician said I am still legally able to drive I choose not to as I don’t feel safe anymore. Short sightedness has been the bane of my life since being a child.
I had an uncle born blind so I can’t complain, I always say you have to count your blessings!

Hi Blue, I am a very friendly person, I like talking to people, I talk to everyone on the buses and trains, my Husband says I shouldn’t talk to everyone, but that’s me. I also love Dogs, if I see a sweet dog I automatically go up to the Owner and ask if I can stroke him/her.
For me to get annoyed, someone really has to upset me, i’m quite a patient person.

Wow Blue. You used to have really long hair. Your photos are gorgeous. I can relate to not knowing what to do about your hair while growing in your greys. That’s basically what this thread is all about. That transitional phase. It’s a difficult one.
Today I watched ‘The Social’ and it had a segment on colouring hair. It was very good. It showed light pink on blonde hair and blue and silver on black hair. It suggested spraying the Silver first on the ends so that the blue shows up better. It looks great but then again that Matthew guy sure knows his stuff.
I truly hope I get to meet you ladies some time this summer. We have sooooo much to chat about that I think it would be lots of fun.
