Had an unsettling dream lately?

These unpleasant dreams come around about every 6 months.
For some reason I was pulled over by the cops and I was in a stolen car.
There was a gun in the glove box, who’s it was I had no idea.
As dreams seem to go their own way, I somehow ended up at home, in bed, waiting for the cops to visit me and ask me how many people did I kill?
I remember handling the gun, but not wiping my prints off.

I had such a horrible dream / nightmare the other night , too horrible to tell , but in my dream i was trying to scream for help yet no sound was coming out so i told myself this is life or death. i screamed . Suddenly my eyes opened and there was a strange noise in my room a howling sound that stopped after a moment or two . It was me . I was shocked . Lying in the silence with my heart beating i was relieved to be awake

Nightmares can be horrid for sure.
When I have a bad nightmare I do not want to go back to sleep, because the nightmare will continue.

This is the potential problem with eternal sleep, you never know what you might get :icon_wink:

I have nightmares quite often, something I’ve learned to live with.

I’ve had some quite disturbing dreams lately too. Is the moon closer to the earth?

Lost dreams - can’t find the car dreams - dirty un-private toilets dreams. Get these time to time. So do many others it seems.

Had one that my brother was in. I was asking why he wouldn’t talk to me, then realised it was because he’s dead.

For some reason I was the token White Guy whom the Indigenous Inhabitants of Australia decided to extract their revenge upon.
I done did my level best to elude capture but eventually overwhelming numbers saw Bretrick taken and tied to a tree.
Well, I like to think I have the gift of the gab and I was doing so well, persuading my captors that I was in fact quite innocent of the charges against me.
That is until that “One in Every Crowd” came onto the scene.
He told his fellow tribesmen to not be fooled by my eloquent words.
He was determined to take his revenge.
Raising his spear…taking aim…my alarm goes off

A lot of my dreams consist of me failing to do something or get somewhere.Much like my waking life really.

I take golden sulfur (methylsulfonsylmethane) for my right hip arthritis however I realized that when I took it at night my nightmares were through the roof plus it was stupid to take it at night but when first started taking it did not know .

Nightmares were often when I was in the Army and my Platoon would black market in the village ( Kool aid , Jello , cigarettes , beers , Tang ) .

I was the only White guy in my squad and certainly took them down the wrong path but it paid off .
I will always remember someone saying " If we are caught your White @-- will only get a warning but not the rest of us ‘’.

I was the brains behind our extra income activity and what a delightful , lucrative time we had but in my nightmare I am Black and they are White so if caught I’m the one who will regret it .

I know the real reason why you woke up. What happened was the Indigenous Inhabitants of Australia lifted up their grass skirts and you spotted the spear he was going to use. :icon_redface: :044: :104: :107:

Crikey some of them are really scary …I never have dreams that bad. I’m nearly always just been chased probably because I’m so beautiful or just plain yummy on a bun with a fried egg

The most vivid dream I had was when I was on holiday many years ago i dreamt a friend, who was confined to a wheelchair, was running down the road. I grabbed her and asked her what she was doing, she smiled and said “I’m OK now”. When I returned from holiday I was told she had died while I was away!

That’s one a bit spooky … almost like she was saying goodbye to you , telling you not to worry or grieve as she was now a free spirit.

Yes, that is what I like to think. She was a lovely lady, totally opposite to me but we became close when we were both receiving treatment for cancer. I am quite shy and introverted, she was a “biker chick” tattoos long black hair (until it fell out) and rode a motor bike! It has been many years now but I still think of her often
