I think most guys over a certain age allow the grey to come through.
I never remember my father with black hair - only in photographs.

I think dyed hair makes the face look older.
Grey hair is natures way of help softening an old wrinkly face.

Grey to white here …and my hair is about the same colour.

At the age of about 50 I realised that I was having disadvantages at work because younger customers increasingly preferred younger staff to do business with. A trend that didn’t affect female colleagues since they dyed their hair which made them look younger. Since dyed hair looks so unnatural I went for tinting it and was satisfied with both procedure and result. Neither hairdressers nor barbers realised that I did something with my hair. I kept it that way until I retired at 63 y.a.
