Government food strategy tells public to eat venison instead of beef to save planet

I have had it noted to go back and re-read the entire series because I really enjoyed it, and also I need to finish the story with the end books. I particularly liked the bit where Ayla was on her own in the cave and finding medicine plants and weaving her baskets…just before Jondula and his brother came on the scene. I thought the author captured the nomadic life so well!

Did you ever watch the Clan of the Cave Bear movie? I thought it was pretty poor, to be honest, but interesting to see how the film makers interpreted the book.

I loved it when Jondalar and his brother turned up too
I just knew they were goint to get together.
Yes, i did watch the film,and agree,it was poor.
I have never been impressed with books being made into films tbh.
I visited a place called Castell Henley in Wales,it took me right back to the books.
Google it PixieKnuckles,i think you will like it

My favourite was when they stayed with the Mammoth Hunters, and she found Wolf. The rage between Jondalar and Ranec was brilliant.

I am going to see if l can get it on my Kindle after the build up you ladies
have just given !! :+1::grin::grin::+1:

I successfully grew cucumbers on the flat roof of the extension this year. Last year they were grown in the bathroom, but this year’s were the real deal
