Goods advertised as new

There is a company in the UK (MPB) that specialise in selling used cameras and equipment. So me seeing they were advertising a particular camera tripod head as new with pictures so I went ahead and ordered it. How bloody stupid of me, Looking again at the photos the handle was missing, how on earth did I not notice. so sent them a message and just now told I woujld get my money refunded, phew.
Just goes to show one has to double check everything.

Found another by different seller and ordered that instead. I already have that particular tripod head but I also have 2 tripods to put them on

By doing this will save me swapping heads from one tripod to the other and having the camcorder on one and the DSLR camera on the other if needed

Also be careful with e-bay sellers and their New in bold print and then ā€˜otherā€™ a little later. There could be several things the seller is not being 100% honest about.

Ok it arrive and looks as new and I know why the seller wanted to sell. the up/down movement had a slight " Free"spot which gave a smal click I could even hear through the headphones. So me being me found out how to strip it down to component parts. Couldnā€™t find anything serious like a missing part or anything and being a fluid head just needed a bit of lubrication . so lightly greased it up with a bit of all purpose copper grease the only grease I had, should really have used a lighter grease but donā€™t have any.
now reassembled and tried and now that ā€œfreeā€ spot has gone. saved Ā£40 against a brand new one
