Goodnight! (Part 1)

Old age is no place for sissies, that’s been cited before, but, equally, old age is no place for sussies.

Goodnight All, and Good Morning Surfer Lady.

Goodnight All.

…but what about Susies? If not, I am in big trouble.

Back at you spitfire ;-):

Jem, I hear you loud and clear.

May the sandman pay kind visits to all.

Goodnight.

Goodnight All.

Predictably, in yer Face.

Predictably, Spitfire, the classic…so, in kind from the Atlantic side ( but with a better beat):

We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We’re all carried along
By the river of dreams

From the riverbank, to all, goodnight!

Goodnight All.

There is an old legend that Galileo, having been forced to recant to the Catholic church his theory that the earth moved around the sun, came out of house arrest, stamped the ground and stubbornly stated, “E pur si muove!” (And so it moves!)

The older I get the less amazed I am that the earth is moving, and the more amazed (and grateful) that I am.

Goodnight!

Yes, that concept is amazing, as is the concept that, some folks go to great effort, to create Inertia!

Goodnight.

A hurricane at a good distance can have very pleasant results for surfers and one is now spinning far off in the gulf. Because I carry all these warning labels due to my advanced age, it’s an early bedtime for me in hopes of catching sensibly sized wave or two…

Calm winds and blue skies your way, goodnight, all.

Keep safe Surfer.

I’m off to bed early tonight, not long off the train from Tipperary, I’m gettin to old for these heavy wakes, also I fear the next funeral I go to the gatekeeper at the cemetery might say to me “Would you not stay and save yourself a trip”;-)

Goodnight all and happy dreams.

Goodnight, you “Green” Pimpernel.

Thank you, Jem. No worries here. I am sorry about your loss, but think highly of your good perspective. Oh, and do tell that gatekeeper to settle down as you still have more than a few things left to do :-);-).

In filling the day with surfing tomorrow, I wish you all good Saturday fun!

Goodnight, all!

I’m off now for a few well earned pints with me son and his wife, so I’ll bid you all a very goodnight.

Goodnight All, Good Morning Surfing lady.

Terrific things I heard the meteorologists report this evening during the coverage of hurricane Harvey:

The hill country in Texas has a lot of terrain.
The rain will just keep raining.
Residents have been advised not flush toilets so they can use the water. :confused2:
When the water reaches the top of that volleyball net (2.43 m), it’s a flood.

May we say what we mean and mean what we say…
more or less .

Goodnight all, and good morning back to you spitfire.

Goodnight all, and may all the music you hate be played when your sound asleep.;-)

Goodnight All.

Today was one of those days that was like a perfect snowflake that melts away all too fast. It’s a bit of a disappointment until you remind yourself that there is a whole lot of snow yet to form and fall your way.

I wish you blizzards in the best sort of way!

Goodnight Jem, spitfire, and all the rest.

It’s been raining here all day, we had our bank holiday at the beginning of August thank God for that, todays weather was a disaster.
Goodnight all and sweet dreams.
