Morning everyone, back from the forest now on a warm but slightly cloudy start, probably brighten up later though. 
Just having a brew now then I’ll be nipping over to Mum’s to mow the lawns and do a bit of weeding, then after lunch I’ve a hedge to clip at home so busy busy…

Today I’m meeting my friend Chris & we’re having a walk round Hardwick ponds in Derbyshire - followed by a lovely lunch at the 15th century Hardwick Inn. It’s also the location of the stately home Hardwick Hall but we will go in the hall another time.
Our 16 year old granddaughter Taylor is taking Tony on the bus to our nearby town of Ripley to go a walk round the park with him & lunch at Wetherspoons.

Good morning - A mixture of sunshine and cloud. I hope the weather stays OK until around 2.00 p.m. We’re meeting friends at a pub at lunchtime. It’s about a mile or so away and we’ll be walking there and back.

Thanks Susie. Time is going past so quickly today. I have confirmed with my house seller to pop in to hers after dropping H off at 9.15, for a coffee and to see their flat, and their home improvements. They spent a lot of money since moving in. Her partner now has dementia so it will be sad to see him.
Then after a polite short length of time I will make my excuses and go into town.

The bathroom has finally dried out and we have got rid of the musky damp smell. Next, for some new Lino to be fitted and the bathroom floor re-sealed. Lovely day here, but there is this bird in a tree near the house that chirps all night and kept me awake most of the night, so I’m Mr Grumpy Trousers today.
House purchase is moving along slowly but hope to complete on the 24th. We have an enormous garden at the new place so I’ll be asking for tips on what to do in the Gardening Section …

I am still in terrible pain and can’t go out on my own.
After sending two complaint letters to my Surgery, my Doctor eventually phoned me yesterday, to confirm that he did put Urgent on my MRI Scan at the Hospital, whereas the Hospital tells me he never, he said he tried to ring them yesterday but could not get an answer but he will ring them again today. So I will just have to wait. 
Morning all, bit cloudy and damp down this way, bit of hedge trimming later me thinks, but first I have to drag myself away from what is a rather addictive site now.

Morning everybody! Major inconvenience this morning as my laptop died. I’m using my tablet for writing this, which looks like a whole different ballgame altogether! Anyway, hopefully I will get things sorted out. It could be worse! At least I found you all again, Hope everyone has a lovely day! 
Oh bu@@er @PixieKnuckles, so annoying! I thought mine was on the blink this morning - the mouse pad completely froze. It happens occasionally and usually starts working again after 10-15 seconds, but not this time. So I rebooted and hey presto it’s working again, phew! But it’s a few years old now, so I think I’m on borrowed time with it.
Haha, just noticed because I used the ‘at’ symbol in that rude word, it’s made the following text bold - I don’t think we have a member called ‘er’
Hi Susie good to see you but sorry to learn you are in terrible pain, that can be exhausting.
I had a crying neighbour here yesterday, she is in a lot of pain and has been diagnosed by phone and blood test with pleurisy and is not happy with the lack of tests or seeing a doctor in person .
The NHS is a mess at the moment…
I hope you get your scan soon x

I was out early to stock up on fruit and salad only to find the greengrocer was closed 
they now only open between 10-2 but I did manage to get fruit in the supermarket.
Then home to make 4 different salads, wash the floor and oil the window hinges with WD40.
Next job the bathroom.
