It’s been raining for a week which has been nice but tiring. Nice because my neighbor doesn’t blast me with his music during the rain because his speakers are out in the yard. He takes them inside when it rains. Tiring because the noise from the rain interrupts my sleep. Also nice because the plants need water.
It stopped raining Monday night so I got some nice sleep. I also did 10 tasks on my to do list on Monday night and a couple more on Tuesday.
Was feeling pretty good on Tuesday and hoping for the feeling to stay.
Might attend a masterclass today but no other plans.

Today I’m visiting a National Trust property to see it decorated for Christmas … it’s a pilgrimage something I have enjoyed doing for years , two visit one today and one next week.
Good morning everyone it was below freezing last night and -3 at the moment and much to Pippin’s amazement the garden is white this morning.
The window cleaner has texted to say he is coming so I want to clean the the inside of the windows and outside downstairs, he only does upstairs.
I have washed a load of dried fruit so will start another batch of mincemeat later, the children have already eaten their way through 2ltrs in mince pies.
First a walk across the fields with Pippin, my walking pole has been invaluable since I was developed spine and hip problems and three walks a day with Pippin seems to have improved my mobility. Poor Chloe refused to walk in the end.
My neighbours (from Hell) use Alexa in the garden in the warm weather, which means I can’t sit out in my own. Now I’ve taken on an allotment plot I am hoping it will be my go to place. And yes, their music is very loud at times.
I got a snotty text from the man (who has his own house round the corner), the other day, saying there will be loud music on the 16th for a party, and over Christmas while there is baking. Then he spoilt it by adding ‘so please no slagging off on Facebook’. I did last year and somehow it got back to him. I am waiting for the opportunity to say to him (apart from that message was rude imo), ‘still got your spies on my FB profile then?’ I apologised, and took my post down, so am insulted he has brought it up again. All I put was something like ‘loud music from next door. What about my own enjoyment?’
I had at the time one or two mutual friends and was suspicious of one. Confronted a few but everyone denied it. I got a friend request from this guy but ignored it. As they rent, or the woman does, I am hoping they move when they get married next year.
Good morning is the last thing on my mind. Phoned the docs yesterday was number 52 in the queue. Got to 5 battery went dead on phone. Tried today pre 8 o’clock was told all appointments taken and they complain about overcrowded A & Es . Wonder why. Have a good day all.
Afternoon all, have been out and did some shopping, back home now.
Suppose to have a fitter coming tomorrow morning to install shutters, the have just rung me to say they can’t make it, i’m really annoyed, fancy telling me at the last minute.
Blimming hell, Susie! Whatever next? Did they give an alternative date? I tried phoning the guy who owes my sister a door, or a refund. Had to leave a voicemail and hope he phones me back. She needs a plumber now, with no heating (but hot water is ok), and the door refund could help towards it. Though why she phoned to tell me I don’t know. Unless it was something else for me to worry about.
Nurse was very thorough this morning. I was prescribed a blue inhaler and peak flow meter. Have a two week chart for the latter. To continue with the steroid nasal spray. There will be a chest X-ray referral, and also a spirometer test at the surgery.
Had to write a list to put on my fridge to remind me. I do wish my sister would offload her problems on to one of her children. Sigh. Told our older sister, I can’t be a personal assistant to the younger one. I have enough crap in my own life.
