Good Morning Wednesday 4th October 2023

Morning all!

Very stressful day. I’ve been trying to get a task done but feeling too poorly to get it done lately. I decided to start on it. I got a lot done but it was really stressful.

Still got more to do but I’m hoping today might be calmer.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning!
It’s still dark at 06-50 but it seems to be dry

I’m going to see a friend in Romiley, near Stockport, today
There are some sort of strikes on the trains, so I’m using the buses; a bit tedious, but hopefully not too difficult as I know the area, just a case of sitting there and chugging along.

Oh, and last night my kitchen light stopped working again, a day after they came to repair it
I’ll phone them again tomorrow as I’ll be away all day today. I have a mobile phone but there’s usually a queue so I’ll use my landline.

Hi

Good Morning All.

A pleasant day weatherwise, district nurse coming with second of my injections…

I will have to be a good little womble, nicely tucked up in bed, until she has gone, then I will be up doing things I am not supposed to.

I am planning to practice making a variety of flatbreads, so the kitchen will be in full use.

Im back to normal after my flu and covid jabs, goes to show my immune systumn kicked in and fought off the nasties .
@swimfeeders naughty naughty , but you did give me a chuckle , making flatbread sounds better than staying in bed .

Wishing everyone a stress free Happy day .

Good morning all, sun is trying to come out.

Nothing planned for today, might just go for a walk.

Have a nice day all.

Morning all.

Food shopping today and maybe some allotment work. Must get back to it after over a month away.

Good morning all

It’s a busy doing nothing day for me .
Hope you have a good one xxx

Good morning. We had a power cut for an hour during the night so my task is resetting the electric clocks around the house. I wonder… should I already set them an hour back, to save time later? Ha ha :joy:

Good Midday Everyone…
:clock12:
Spent another five hours in A&E yesterday hence my absence.
Turns out I was right about the fall damaging a tendon in my foot, the X-Ray showed some damage but will need an MRI to really determine the extent of the damage. All I know is it’s really painful to walk on it. The good news was that my blood tests (which they did again yesterday) came back normal for uric acid.
So it’s sudoku and sit down jobs today…Missing my walks!

I’m not sure that I’ll go for a MRI because apart from plenty of rest I don’t think there is any treatment for a damaged tendon. It’s just a case of letting it heal in it’s own time.
I hope to see the doctor on Friday about long term treatment for the gout so I might mention it to her.
Thanks everyone for you good wishes and support…
