Good Morning Wednesday, 4th June 2025

Good morning to all you forum followers on this cold winter’s day. 16° is all I can hope for today, this Antarctic blast is just that.

Spent some of the morning knocking some video I had forgotten about into some semblance of order…

Yeah, I know load of crap but I enjoy doing it.

Went to Bunnings this morning for a couple of door locks mine are something like 40 years old and just about worn out so I went to get a keyed alike set for the front and back doors. Total waste of time! they had no keyed alike sets at all and lots of empty boxes, will have to search on line. They didn’t even have 19mm double sided tape that I needed. Very disappointing…

Not sure what else I am going to do today but I think it involves staying indoors with the fan heater on.

Have a warmer day than me.

Take care…

Good morning!
Dull, drizzly, cool

Just a general tidying & pottering day
I’m going away for a week or so to Gloucestershire for my daughter’s 40th birthday, followed by a few days mooching around
At the speed I go I’ll start packing today
Fortunately I made up her present a couple of weeks ago

No rain and brighter today. Wednesday has become my regular service day regarding the medical needs. I’m hoping to persuade Mrs mart into giving me a haircut as well. I’ll start to do it myself and this might work.

I’ll cut the grass later if the weather stays dry …although the buttercups and daisies look quite good. Maybe a bit of hedge trimming is in order too.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.

Bright warm and sunny here in southern Hampshire. Just got back from my walk and fed the swans and cygnets with my bag of swan food. Nice to see them thriving, even though they share the water with coots and herons and a pair of Canada Geese. Not sure what’s happening today, Mrs G has just cancelled her gym appointment, which means we might go down to the beach for a walk along the seaside.

Have a good day all…

Good morning all!

I’ve spent the morning calmly putting together my new flat packed bed. As a kid I was awful at Meccano, you get the picture. I’m almost there, nuts and bolts are holding well…ever the optimist?

As long as I don’t entertain any ideas about indulging in sexual Olympics… might need a spare Allen key :open_mouth:

Enjoy the rest of your day forum people :+1:

Afternoon Everyone…Blimey! I’d be late for my own funeral…

Decent weather today, windy but mild with some sunny spells…
Managed to accompany Mrs Fox round the Isles of Tesco (still no Penguin biscuits, what’s going on) then dropped her off in town to do some serious shopping (charity shops and all that) I returned home and did the necessary showering and breakfasting. Hope to try out the new sander shortly, but decided to clad the summer house fascias in PVC…Who wants to spend the day at the end of a paintbrush.
