A remarkably quiet night so far, only one transfer out and none in.
Nurses being quiet as are the phones.
Had my observations, not that good and some morphine; and now slowly drifting off to sleep

Another warmish day for the last day of Winter. Whoopee! Spring tomorrow - alas the forecast is for a colder day than today which is a bit tragic.
Picked up a parcel with a new piece for my 3D Printer and later went to the Vietnamese Bakery for a dozen wholemeal rolls to freeze.
Even went mad and pulled up some weeds in the garden (bindis). Ho Hum…

Morning everyone! I feel like I have to whisper, why am I whispering on the internet?
Its almost 04:30 and the owl who has taken up residence in a nearby tree, clearly thinks I need to be awake.
It’s pitch black outside but it’s 12 degrees, so quite warm still. No plans made as yet, but I daresay a nap will be happening at some point.

Good morning everyone
Well I feel happy to be saying good morning to you all today as yesterday we were in a car crash.
A junction just beyond Menwith Hill the American Listening Airbase…one minute we were ok then the next an American lady smashed into the side of our car we were OK except the Discovery has a big dent in it… her car however I think is a write off…
It was weird because within minutes we were surrounded by military police they were very polite and took all the details but it was intimidating…I have no idea what she was thinking because she just accelerated straight at us across the junction…oh well none of us plan accidents so I feel lucky to be here.

You and Mr Summer will have been put under the microscope by the NSA and ClA yesterday if you had a crash with a Yank up there.
Beware of large men with sunglasses for a while.

Quiet but productive start to the day. I had a little paperwork and now I am getting ready to head out to school this morning, so that’s the end of the holidays for me. As always, the gripe is, it went by all too quickly.

Good morning to everyone. sun is here already and looks to be another day without needing to heat our house. heavy night dampness so Tilly has her wellingtons on to feed the hens with her mum. i like to watch her, she takes no pecking from any of them and is funny with a pointy finger

Glad you’re ok Summer. Let’s hope that the driver of the other car doesn’t fly back to the states, claim diplomatic immunity and refuses to take responsibility (and get her insurance to sort stuff out). As we all know, it has been known!!!

Good morning all, Good to hear you are all still with us Summer and Swimmy after yesterday’s mishaps…
Back home from daughter’s early today as the plumber failed to show up, for goodness sake just bloody ring me, or even a text will do, what is your problem… grrr 
OK, rant over, I will spend the now free morning pottering about and this afternoon we will visit my mum in hospital, where she’s been for the last two weeks with tummy problems.
