Good Morning Wednesday, 30th April 2025

Good morning to everybody on the last day of yet another month in 2025. It is all happening too quickly.

I have just arrived in a little town called Surat. I think the local pub runs everything here, they are the caravan park, the motel, a restaurant and coffee shop. The site is nice, all grass. The weather is lovely - You know what they say - Queensland, Beautiful One Day, Perfect the Next

Arrived in Queensland early this morning, dead straight, forward run little traffic. Know more about CUB camper trailerss than I needed to know, I have a very chatty next door neighbour. He was so enthusiastic about it I thought he must have just bought it, turns out he’s had it 9 years, looks like new.

Hope you have a great day

Take care…

Morning all – yes another lovely sunny day – temperatures forecast to reach 26c! Believe it or not there is someone on local radio this morning complaining about the heat!!!

Spent time in the garden yesterday, sitting reading a book – not working! I had to come back indoors as it was so hot (no I am not complaining!)

I was planning to go to a meeting at church this morning, but my brother will be ringing me with an update on Mum so I have to wait for that.

One of my husband’s nephews is running a half marathon to raise money for a Diabetes charity so I hope to visit his parents and make my donation in cash – I don’t like doing it online!

Take care - have a great day

Morning all. Boiling hot down here in Hampshire, just come back from my daily walk. Not sure what’s happening with me today, I’ll think of something once I’ve had my coffee.

Good morning all. What a pleasure to see cheerful, upbeat posts!

Good morning everyone… :039:
Rest day today but still had to do a solo visit to Tesco for the weekly shop. Mrs Fox had other plans and has gone orf with her friend…
With green bin day tomorrow I will see what needs doing in the garden and cut the lawns.
Next job is to pay the council tax online… :010:
Can anyone spare a crust for next weeks dinners…
I just realised after reading about your adventures @Bruce, the thing wrong with the UK is there are far too many people living here, and when the sun comes out, the roads are gridlocked, and trying to find somewhere to eat that’s not got people queing out of the door is almost impossible.
Hope it’s good news about your Mum @SheilaP and good luck to the runner, tell him to drink plenty of water if it’s as hot as today…
