God morning to all on another lovely spring day, 27° today lots of sunshine and frolicking therein.
The problem with spring is that the weather is so variable - one day it is hot, last night it only got down to 15° but the next day may well be cool. When does one remove the winter bedding? I was far too warm last night but this weekend is projected to be much cooler, a max of 21°. It’s a worry
Don’t have much planned for today, though, to be frank, am concerned about the US ramping up their adventures in the middle east and the idiot’s effect on fuel prices and availability but apart from that the day should be all sweetness and light. Am having a last minute search for a reflective windscreen thing that I know I have but can’t find (how can you lose something that is shiny silver and about a metre long?)
A grey and damp day here by the seaside, just when I wanted to do some cleaning up of my garden. Looks like we could be having a bit of a storm later. If it does come down, I’ll have to find something else to do. Can’t say more than that.
It’s a Men’s Shed this afternoon but I’m feeling a bit sniffly so I think I’ll give it a miss
I have food in so I might just get back under the duvet for a couple of hours and catch up on my box of unread books
Same here Graham - damp and around 16 degrees, but i need to go into town today.
I might get the bus in this time, but walk back for the exercise, as long as it’s not tipping down of course.
Finally had a date for my second cataract surgery - my first on the left eye was back in January, so i’ve had to wait seven months for this which is astounding, considering i was told initially that they like to have both eyes done within 8 weeks!
The delay is mainly due to the fact that i opted to have the surgery at our very new hospital in town, which has a smart new Opthalmology unit, but unfortunately it seems to be suffering from staffing problems.
Anyway it’s in a couple of weeks time, so sooner done the better - fingers crossed it won’t be cancelled
