Good morning to you all, a wet cold morning here. Only 17°, while we need the rain we don’t need the cold. It is supposed to warm up tomorrow with temperatures creeping back into the 20s.
Another morning spent in a Zoom meeting now fortunately all over (which is why I am a bit late with this post.
Now have to do battle with the council as they try to curtail our hours at the community centre.

Wet & windy yesterday & last night, but it’s turning out to be dry & sunny this morning – so far!
Kitchen duties this morning
Thanks to my regular shopping and a Lidl Veg box I now have a large amount of carrots, so I’m going to try freezing them
I’ve watched a couple of YouTube videos about this and it seems straightforward enough
Then this afternoon I’ll be going to the Men’s Shed

Morning all – grey wet day today – such a difference from yesterday’s sunshine
The beast was less vocal this morning but still showed her dominance by throwing up on the carpet! Her regular servants are due back late tonight and I am sure she will express her displeasure to them – probably just as well none of us speak cat!
The new bulbs in the planter at the front of the house were dug up by something (probably a squirrel) on Monday night. A neighbour suggested putting some mesh over it but as I don’t have anything like that I sent an SOS to the gardener who has promised to come today and replant and bring some netting with him (although he may have to postpone that due to the rain)
I do wonder about the people who organise parcel deliveries! I had a parcel yesterday (yes more books!) – came when expected and all fine, then 20 minutes later the driver was back delivering a parcel to the house opposite! I am sure the drivers must also find it frustrating
Joining one of my sisters-in-law for a meeting at the church hall today, they usually have some very interesting speakers, although last month it was a man showing pictures and talking about all the cars he had owned over the years! Hope today’s speaker is more interesting
