Good morning Wednesday 29/06/2022

Good morning all, thought i’d better start a thread as nobody has done one yet.
Went to Tesco this morning, it was a bit cold and grey skies, the sun is trying to come out though.
In the next hour I will be walking to our local Church and Grave Yard, just to look around the Church, sit on the bench in the Grave Yard, look at some of the old graves etc. like you do, well I do.

Have a nice day all.

Got my washing done, tidied up a few messy areas, packed a tent I had added a C section to.

Otherwise an very cool winters day.

Have a good one

Good morning Susie and Bruce

Cloudy, showery, but with sunny spells in between today.
I bought a few plants while I was at Tesco’s yesterday, but I am taking them back in a mo because I have read they are toxic to dogs. My young Gertie is always meddling and doing a bit of ‘pruning’ where she thinks necessary, so I daren’t risk it.

I’ve just rung the vets to re-order some tummy tablets for her, now I am hoping for a nice peaceful day, before I pop out to a meeting this evening.

Have a good day folks.

What on earth’s a ‘C’ section, Bruce?
Over here, that is what sometimes happens to a woman giving birth! :grinning:

Probably wrong name it fits in a C section piece of Ali. I sewed it on the edge of a RV shade tent

Haha, I wondered that myself @Mups:smile:

Morning everyone, sunshine and showers here too, but warm enough so no complaints.

I’m hoping the showers will ease so that I can clip the side hedge but not urgent really, there’s always tomorrow…

Enjoy the day…

Hah. Thank goodness for that Bruce. I thought you’d had something nasty done.

Morning awl. We had a long walk with the dogs to one of the parks. Now we are home and waiting for the groceries to arrive. Then my wife will take Ozzie to the vet. Such a busy life we have…

Good morning everyone :slightly_smiling_face: we still have a high wind battering the blossoms in my garden .

I am busy packing to go away on holiday on Friday, not far only the Welsh coast with dog and children.

I just got the results of my x rays which were something of a shock showing a problem with my hips and spine, my walking pole is such an asset and means regardless of the problem I can still get across the fields every day and hopefully short walks when on holliday.

Everything takes me so much longer to do so I don’t have time to post on here these day but still keep an eye everyone

Good afternoon all.

I have been busy on the PC, typing up homework for the writing group. It isn’t due in for a few weeks but I wanted to get it done while I had the idea in my head. What I need to do now is return to my novels and continue with one or the other. Our leader (recovering from Covid) put the ‘how is everyone doing?’ update request on our FB page yesterday and I had to confess to not having anything to report. Added my comment, homework now completed. Phew. Something, I suppose.

Now need to put a couple of rolls in the oven (they are part cooked ones) and that is lunch taken care of.

Meg, sorry to hear about your x ray result. Hope you can still enjoy your holiday.

Been to the mens shed, watched some heavy rain , now I’m idling away on here.

Hi Meg
I’m sorry about your spine and hips. I’m glad that you can still can enjoy the walks. I do too but, since I had the hopitalisation spell, walking up steep hills is a bit of a challenge.
