Good Morning Wednesday, 25th March 2026

Good morning to you all out there in forum land on this clear, sunny day.

It was actually quite chilly this morning when I set out for my walk I think it was only 17° or 18° which is nippy for me but a brisk walk soon warms you up. Walked past the high school and their posh bus stop.

When I returned home, in fact, just as I walked in the door, my washing machine played a jolly tune to say it had finished a load so I hung that on the line straight away.

Then I decided, before I had my morning shower, to mow the grass even though it was pretty damp with dew just to get it out of the way.

This arvo I have to go into Wollongong to see my specialist so I thought I would take an early bus and visit the Day Surgery Hospital to lodge the admission form for my second eye op. Saves an extra trip.

That’s my day sorted, what are you getting up to?

Take care…

Good morning all…

A cold and blustery day here on the south coast, although the sun is out, it’s not doing much with the temperature. Just come back from my daily walk to check up on how the wildlife is getting on, which seems to be slowly returning amongst the wreckage left by English Heritage. The female swan was sat on her nest whilst the Cob was off chasing ducks. One pair of Canada geese were about, but no sign of the other pair.

Meanwhile, its wash day here in the Graham household, which means nothing exciting happening today, probably finish off some of the photos I did the other day.

Apologies for the bad photo, taken on my phone. You can see the the swan on the nest she built and the torn stumps of trees.

Anyways, have a great day all…

 :duck: :swan:

Afternoon all – the day started cloudy wet and cold – the sun has broken through but there is a very strong cold wind

Went along to a club for “more mature” people this morning, met one of my sisters-in-law there, we decided to go for lunch after, except when we arrived at the café we were told there was a wait of at least 30 minutes for food! We decided to go elsewhere and have a coffee instead. She does concern me – she is 85 and is very forgetful, loses track of what she is saying. I really don’t think she should be driving but she refuses to give it up!

Take care – enjoy the rest of the day

Good afternoon to you all. I had planned a little expedition for this afternoon but the wind curtailed that. Therefore I’m at home doing a few jobs around the house. Not as interesting but jobs always need doing. Have a great day everyone
