Good morning to you all, It is a bit warmer today though still a bit overcast, can’t complain, desperately need the rain, local farmers are complaining that their dams are empty.
Not much happening for me today, as I mentioned yesterday I finished cutting all the wood for my tiny project, today I sanded it and applied a coat of varnish so not much else I can do. Did sort out some of the junk I carry and am going to reduce it a lot, too many duplicates have accumulated.
Dismantled a water pump that I use to transfer water from my 10 litre containers to the daily use 5 litre one (or kettle). I went to use it while was away it didn’t work, had to use the pipe as a syphon. When I dismantled it the reason was easy to see.
Another sunny one for West Sussex, no commitments as such today. I do need to clean out the fridge and freezer with white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in preparation for the big online Tesco shop!

This is my ideal weather - sunny days, cool mornings and evenings and very warm afternoons, no rain or wind.
I was in a linen shop the other day and noticed they are already selling Christmas tablecloths and napkins. Wait a minute, we still have to get through Halloween!
That reminds me, I must get my chimney cleaned while the good weather still holds up, buy my firewood supply, inspect my olive trees to check if it’s worth paying to get them harvested and get some olive oil produced. I’m sure there’s something else I should take care of, everything was put on hold because of that excessive heat we had for nearly four months, now I’ve forgotten what needs doing!
