Grey here in Bristol at the moment but sun looks to be rising.
No plans let’s just see what the day brings. I like surprises.

It’s sunny & dry with just a bit of cloud, a change from the past week or more of storms
And thanks to those storms I have been staying in for days and just about run out of fresh food, so I have had cans, packets & out of the freezer meals for the past two days
Yes, I could have gone out, but that’s the point of stocking up for winter
So today I’m off to do a few errands - eggs benedict & coffee in Spoons, then the library, bank and a bit of shopping
I want to buy a very cheap watch to do me while my posh watch is being repaired
Than back home, but I’ll stay on the bus an extra stop and go to the barbers.
And afterwards cross the road to go to LIDL
Well that’s the plan.

It’s nice & sunny here at the moment.
I’m meeting my friend Chris in the mill town of Belper for a short walk followed by lunch & browsing the shops.
Tony is out with Ady for the day so I don’t have to worry about him.

It has just rained for most of the day, the ground is saturated, 24mm overnight god know what fell today.
It only got to 25° so hardly summer weather. No walk today.
The only bright spot was the cafe delivered ten $5 meals this arvo.

Morning all, dull and grey outside, but no rain. It’s a bit breezy so I might hang the towels out despite the lack of sun.
Hairdressers at 1.30, then I’ll go to my daughter’s straight after (she’s literally just round the corner from the hairdresser). She’s having her lashes done, which is going to take a couple of hours, so I’ll either take the little one out, or I’ll stay there with her and do some arts and crafts or watch a film together.

The town centre is still flooded, local roads drying nicely, garden still with standing water.
Wendy is here today, so a local walk is on the cards together with some easy weights.
A milestone today, the longest I have been out of hospital since July 2020.

Bright and sunny, and 5 degs. so far.
Dogs been out, wild birds fed and watered, breakfast finished, some chicken in the slow cooker, and one load of washing done. Now I am sitting down with a cuppa to say good morning to my firends on here.

I’m expecting to see my granddaughter this afternoon, that will be nice catching up on things.

Mags, sorry I have only just seen you asked about my ear yesterday and I never replied.
So painful yesterday, with swollen neck glands, but after I went doc’s twice, I finally got some antibiotic drops which are helping now, thanks.

Morning everyone (just…) sunny here but still a stiff breeze building after a quiet start.
I’ve been in the garden putting new glass into the greenhouse after the storms, so I’m just hoping we won’t see their like again for awhile!
