It has been the first rain free day for over a week so my washing machine was loaded at running by 6.30am
Went for a nice long walk too so that when I returned home I had the washing on the line and it was dry by noon.
Am thinking about either mowing the grass or spraying cheap Chinese Roundup as my gardening job for the day. That is the only problem with summer, a bit of rain and the plants go completely mad.
Am thinking for flying my drone this arvo just to keep my hand in.

Cloudy & dull but dry and not too cold
I have to stay in today as I’m expecting a parcel delivery
Also, although my flu bug has mostly cleared up, with hardly any sneezing, it has left me feeling weak & tired
So I’ll be happy enough to spend today just sitting around, and catching up with emails & letter writing
Good Day Bruce and Zulu, it’s raining cats and dogs here but did manage an early visit to Tesco for the weeks shopping. Spent yesterday running our daughter and hubby around to get their shopping, it was her hubby’s day off so it was nice to spend some time with them. Her car still isn’t ready yet but she had a call today from the garage to say it’s almost ready and if not today, then it will be tomorrow.
I can hear Mrs Fox’s vacuum cleaner getting ever closer, so it’s time to pack up the laptop and disappear…

Terrible weather I blame Trump entirely for all this rain .
I can’t bear to watch the news to awful.
Cheer myself up popped into town and bought a bright red cardigan.
There’s a slight problem …the buttonholes are too small or maybe it’s the buttons that are too big,
either way it’s going back .

I try not to get involved with the news, and I don’t mind waking up to a rainy morning. It’s better than the alternative…
