Good morning to you all on this lovely warm winter’s day. Set out this morning with my cardigan on and had to quickly return to take it off, back to T shirt weather at last.
Spent some time earlier getting a free copy of M$ Office 2021 Pro onto my old computer - have a browse on YouTube if you want to do the same. It’s quite legal and above board apparently.
Visited my GP this morning so he could inject my hormone stuff and to get a prescription for my yummy OxyNorm.
All in the garden is rosy so far today, Might spend the arvo sitting in the garden enjoying thoughts of spring.
Anyway, what ever you are up to I hope you enjoy it and take care…
It is more of a hormone suppressant so I suppose it keeps them quiet but I bow to your expertise in this area.
After I visited my doctor I wandered down to my PO Box and discovered that the computer battery that I had ordered a few days ago had arrived.
Just removed the laptop case, replaced the faulty internal one with the new one and reassembled it - it is on charge now so hopefully I won’t get the “faulty battery” pop up any more.
Happy Happy Hump Day !!! Another fall like day on the East coast of the USA,
73 F (22 c) for the high, 50 F (10 c), another bright, bright sunshiney day
“Happy Wednesday”
Life is a journey, and each day is a step forward.
Today take a step with purpose,
and let the rhythm of your heart guide you.

Good morning - Sunny with some cloud and only 12ºC at 7.00 a.m. An early bus ride to the hospital first thing for some medical matters, then see what the rest of the day brings.
It’s a sunny day here with a hint of Autumn in the cool breeze, ah well Summer can’t last forever I suppose. It was pleasant on the dog walk although I should have taken my cardigan because it was quite breezy over the fields. I took my cardigan yesterday but ended up carrying it because it was warmer than I thought it would be, so I assumed it would be the same today - my mistake!
Good luck with your hospital visit @mart hope it goes well; also with your hormone treatment @Bruce.
I have heard Wednesday called ‘humpday’ before @raven1 but am not sure what it means. Perhaps it’s obvious but I can’t see it - maybe it’s due to Wednesday being in the middle of the week, but why ‘hump’? I expect I’m being particularly dense!!
I plan to do some gardening today because the front garden needs a tidy up due to some of the plants dying back.
Good Morning forum Jockeys…
Did a solo visit to Tesco this morning, Mrs Fox allowed me out by myself in charge of the Tesco list…
I bought her some crumpets to show my appreciation…
Another day, and another garden centre for lunch…Was invited out by our daughter and hubby…Honest!..
I should get a new battery for this laptop Bruce, it’s only lasting 2 hours now but I’m not sure how to take it apart. I found the correct battery type and a supplier, but at fifty quid it won’t be money well spent if I fail to install it…
Just had an Unexpected invite. To a friends Birffday party Tomorrow!!
Jeepers Creepers. No time to buy a gift. Saved by the Bell :laughing
Found an unused. Plug in “Pest Repellent”.
Now busy writing a note on the back of a betting slip.
“Happy Burffday Neil. JIC. you don’t want to invite me. Next Year”
All the way 2A Knee’s Up.
@MargaretF , I can help you with the “hump” question. Here in the US, we have a five day workweek. In the middle is Wednesday, we called it hump day. On Thursday, we were “over the hump” and downhill toward the weekend.
Also, Geico came up with this commercial, which we all loved.
“Hump day” is an informal term used in British English to refer to Wednesday, the middle day of the workweek. The term was first used in the 1950s and is often used to describe the challenges people may face on Wednesdays when it’s hard to stay productive and focused. For example, someone might offer half-price drinks on hump day if business is slow."
