It is a wet good morning from me and quite cool only just over 20° so far though it is only supposed to get to 23° anyway.
9mm of rain overnight and it was raining when I woke up so no walk for me.
Decided to have a no food day so will be living off coffee and tea while spending the day reading and probably watching another episode of Homeland.
Not a lot is going to happen today I don’t think, hope your day is a bit more interesting.

It’s quite hot here today. I checked my plants (even the hydro ones!) to make sure the water is still okay before heading out.
Also surprised myself this morning, my weight is up to 53 kg now! Time to be a bit more mindful again

Just got back from a few days away at a Photography show and came away a little more poorer than when I went in. Wife was happy with some retail shopping on the way home. Meanwhile, the weather has improved a lot and maybe forced to cut our back garden later if it holds up. While I may be doing that, the wife is off to meet her sister and get her hair done. Apart from that, not much to add.

I started watching The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix yesterday and didnt switch off till 3am ,
each episode left me wanting to know more .
Does any one watching it think Micky the Lincoln Lawyer looks like a young James Garner?
I have a parcel to post today so will be doing my 2 mile walk round trip, weather is good for walking , no complaints there .
There was a stage with a Guy singing when I went to town yesterday, not such a big do as other years for St Patrick Day …
A few people had got into the spirit of things by wearing Green , and there was a Guy dressed as a Irish Priest .

Good Morning from a sunny and warm South Yorkshire…
Rest day today so no walk, but an early solo visit to Tesco for the weekly shop.
Why is it that there are always staff filling the shelf that I want to be at… 
Anyway, being deserted of shoppers I could skip around the isles and avoid all the stillages and cages left abandoned willy nilly.
Spent yesterday cleaning the outside of the car ready for it’s MOT tomorrow, looks like it just came out of the showroom…
Just the inside to do today, but first I’ll get me chair out and think about what’s going to happen later…
Interesting anomaly, I’ve been keeping a record of the sunrise and sunset, and today the sun rose at 6:15 am and it will set at 6:15 pm…so in my book that’s the equinox…
However…computer (or google) says no, and the equinox is actually on Friday the 20th…Have they got it wrong? 
Afternoon all – a lovely bright sunshine day today – certainly lifts the mood
Spent the morning cleaning the kitchen and then making a chilli for tonight’s dinner.
Had an email from the neighbours on holiday in the Caribbean – they sent me a video of the beach in Antigua, if they were trying to make me jealous then – mission accomplished!
Gardner has arrived for the first tidy up of the year

An interesting start to the day.
Asbestos survey of the house of the house started at 10 am this morning, really good news, only a couple of ceilings need to be done, the rest of the house has already had work done to it.
Samples taken and sent away for analysis.
Monday work starts on emptying the 3 bedrooms, everything is being photograped, especially the labels, I have some expensive clothes and cotton bedding to be replaced.
The solid hardwood bed frame alone will cost in excess of £1000 to replace, as will the high cotton thread count sheets, pillow cases etc.
Luckily most of the labels can be photographed and the furniture,lights etc can be traced using Google.
Things are stating to move at long last.

Good afternoon everyone, now I know who stole our sunshine and warm weather! 
No seriously, I’m happy to hear that most of you are experiencing sunny, warm days, we had our turn last week ahd the week before, so I shouldn’t complain really. Today seems like a typical January day, very cold, rainy, North wind blowing, snow on the top of the mountains that I can see from my backyard. I’m writing this sitting by the fireplace. We all knew it was too good to be true. 
I just hope all the lovely trees around us, in full bloom, won’t suffer too much. :slightly_frowning_face. Night temperatures will be only 2 or 3C. Happens every year.

Hi Pimmy. That’s Max and he is a boy dog !! And a Collie so they are one of the most intelligent. I had one when I was about 14 and he was totally attached to me. We lived on the farm in the hills to it was a bit remote - school was six miles away !
