Good morning everyone! Dawn has yet to sneak over the rooftops, but I’m wide awake. Still no vet contact, and I shall be having words when they do finally decide to get in touch. I wish I was on social media so I could blast them in public, frankly. However John is quite full of beans apart from a limp, so I take heart from that.
No plans yet for today, but likely coffee fuelled to keep me going! Have a lovely day everybody
Good morning all, nice to see so many up and chirpy already…
We are just heading out to take our daughter to her hospital appointment today to have her cancer op, so nothing else on our agenda other than cooking a tagine for lunch.
Good morning all, the sun is trying to come out.
Nothing planned for me.
Sorry to year about your Angina Attack Swimmers.
Yesterday we bought 10 bags of gravel and 2 filters for our Fish Tank.
Beef Casserole going on today.
Have a nice day all.
A very good morning one and all. bit damp at the moment but promises to get wetter later. made an appointment to dump some rubbish later '" whoopee" . Have a good day whatever your agenda.
Good morning everyone, bright start but lots of cloud here in the SW.
The builders are starting in earnest today, hacking off the render in the hall, right back to the brickwork, so there will be a lot of dust, oh joy 🥲. Probably will decamp to my daughter’s for the day.
Good morning everyone dull and drizzly but better that than hot for me.
I am feeling a bit more positive today about taking the new medication as some of the side effects have diminish including the effect on my vision which was scary.
I want to do some cleaning and my Waitrose order this morning but think I will need to pop to the shops tomorrow anyway. I am doing a big picnic for my son and 4 of the children on Saturday , my DIL is driving to the West of Scotland with my youngest grandaughter to see a friend .
Enjoy your day .
I feel so tried today, like I need more sleep still, so might have to have a cap nap later.
Not much planned, just got to pop out and pick up a prescription, and maybe a bit of gardening if the rain holds off.
Meg, take care, maybe not try to do so much till you know how your new meds will affect you?
Barry, fingers crossed for your daughter today. Hope all goes well.
Thanks Mups , I thought I had got away with less symptoms today but they are just different with the arrival of headache and nausea so off into the fresh air for some dead heading …
Many thanks for your good wishes for my daughter. Luckily she is having a lumpectomy rather than a mastectomy, so she may be discharged later today depending on the time of her procedure and her recovery from the anaesthetic. A few sore days ahead no doubt, but a price worth paying if it rids her of the malignancy I think you will agree!
We are happy - we had a phone call from the window fitters this morning. With a bit of luck and a following wind, our new double glazing will be installed started Sept 2nd, or maybe Sept 8th.
