Good morning all, the temperature is still in the low 20s but it is overcast today.
At 7.30am I was waiting for my car rego check, by 7.40am it was done, and I paid my $51 . I am still waiting for a messages on my phone telling me that my car is now registered for another year, it normally only takes a couple of hours. I just checked on line and it is indeed registered until 2027 but still no notice on my phone.
Since then have not done much, just some tidying up in the garden, filled the bird bath and put some rubbish in the bin. I did remember to remove some of the ginger plants that are annoying my electricity meter reader and put those in the bin.
No worries, things are supposed to be gradually hotting up as from tomorrow
I’ll be heading to The Free Shop Café with my son this morning. It’s an independent charity based café that serves the community at a number of levels. Terrific service, good coffee and food and very reasonably priced, they can keep their sterile, corporate Costa type outlets, give me somewhere independent with a bit of character anytime.
Then it’s on to town, I’ll be taking a camera loaded with speedy, express fast film given the light conditions. I’m thinking of using it in the café to try and get some punchy, grainy shots of table settings and anything else that might catch my eye!
Good morning everyone, the calm after the storm at the moment, but we may get more showery weather later on this afternoon, before heading for a scorcher!
I got caught right in the middle of the rain/hail storm yesterday, on the good side though, my car seems to have received a good wash.
After my sadness for my missing cat, I have a stray one at the moment that seems to have made its home in my back yard. Obviously because I started feeding it.
I’m having problems logging in to the site and while I was writing, something went wrong and some of my post disappeared!
The “thinking” emoji was meant to be at the end of another sentence I’d written:
“I’m thinking of a name for her (the cat)”.
Wasn’t it a warm and humid night , when I came out of the Gig It was like middle of the day heat …
Woke up to rain this morning and a bit more in the forecast ,I should be nipping to town sometime today to collect parcels , I may be getting wet .
Online shop is being delivered in an hour, and then I can relax .
