Good morning forum folks, it was a cold morning in Canberra when I got up at 6.30, it was 5°C, I am not used to such temperatures, cardigan and feather puffer jacket was called for immediately.
My son in law and daughter had to go to work but I didn’t want to leave before 10am (ish), For such a small city with such good roads Canberra traffic is nightmarish. After 9.30 it calms down. The drive back was a charm no holdups, not much traffic, was on cruise control most of the way. I arrived in Wonderful Wollongong at 1pm so this is “Good Afternoon” from me (night time temp 16° ).
Came down Macquarie Pass today for a change so probably an hour of driving on country roads rather than expressway but again no hold ups, travelled at the speed limit all the way…
Called in to my Grandkids on the way to drop off their Easter Bunnies - The teenager was still in bed!! Though I suppose the word “teenager” says it all.
Do you have anything special planned for Easter? I don’t, it will be just another long weekend for me.
However a long weekend is something to look forward to.
Good morning - Dry, breezy, Sun and clouds. Not all that warm but good enough to get the washing hanging out to dry. Off to the hospital on the bus later today and should be home again around mid-afternoon.
I’ll be staying in today as I’m expecting a parcel delivery
Also I have wanted to send a letter or email to three friends, so I’ll just settle down to that, with frequent cups of tea & coffee
At the speed I go that will take most of the day, but I also have book that that is part read
More corals and first two fish arrived yesterday, settled in nicely but then woke up this morning to and explosion of black cyanobacteria in the previously pristine aquarium.
It sometimes happens with new tanks, the Ugly Phase as the tank matures.
It is like a teenager with rampant hormones, attitude and a severe case of acne.
Such is life, the scientist will get to work.
Some good news yesterday from my son in the Far East, not often I get good news nowadays., bad news was my meds are not working well at the moment and my kidneys need a flush, so having to double my fluid intake to 3 litres today…
The text did not specify what kind of fluid, so not water and celebrating the good news about son with 3 litres of 9% Belgium Lager.
Good morning awl and sundry ! We walk the wee dog of course and and some others but yesterday, sadly, her friend died, A lovely couple and we are sorry for them.
Morning all, colder than a witches bosom today, thank God it’s not a walking day. I just scurried off to the Tesco early on, and solo I might add…Mrs Fox has got the hump with me again…
She’s gone orf with the daughter and grand daughter, shopping probably.
Made a few strides forward with my new phone yesterday when I downloaded the app from my bank…Awesome!
Can count my money on a more regular basis now…But there won’t be much left after paying the insurance and tax on the motor, and water rates comes out today, not to mention the council tax on the 30th of April…
The wind has really got up in the last hour, and it’s freezing ah tell ya!
I better put some clothes on…
