Good morning Wednesday 15th June

Good morning all, a sleepless night here for some reason so I’ve given up on it and thought I’d waste an hour on the Internet.

Still dark out so no idea what the weather’s doing yet, but it did forecast a nice day and building up to a bit of a heat wave around Friday so we’ll see… :sunglasses:

Nothing much on my agenda, just bread to bake and a couple of odd jobs, but I may resign myself then to a deckchair in the shade with a book and a cold beer this afternoon.

Have yourselves a good day

A sunny, cool day, got the rest of my washing on the line early this morning and dry by noon.

Filled a couple of prescriptions, bought a dozen wholemeal rolls from the Vietnamese shop to freeze and some milk and fruit from Coles. They are obviously still having delivery problems because the egg and cheese shelves were just about empty.

So nice to be back on the coast after the bitter cold of the ACT - it is a good 5 degrees warmer here during the day (19° as opposed to 14°).

Took out a 30 day trial sub to Stan streaming service so I can watch the rest of “Better Call Saul” also if Netflix goes down the path of showing ads then I will dump them and stick with the cheaper Stan.

Have a good day.

Hi

The sun is shining through the windows, coffee due at 7 and then the day starts.

The man opposite is going to s Community Hospital for Rehab so a new face will be arriving.

Have a good day all.

Sun’s out so will be out with Alf before it gets too hot, mens shed today, so a busy morning.Enjoy.

Morning all, sun is shining.

Barry, I didn’t have any sleep last night either.

Swimmers I thought you were going home yeterday afternoon?

Not going out today, I overdone the walking yesterday and my hip and leg hurts.

Have a nice day all.

Hi

They are discharging me with a temporary Care Package as I am a falls risk

They cannot get the carers .

I really do want to get home.
It is a mess. The UK man opposite was supposed to leave for Rehab yesterday. He is still waiting for an ambulance to transfer him

Morning all.

Hope all goes to plan for you, Swims.

Barry, enjoy your garden siesta.
Susie, you rest too.

Haven’t any specific plans for today, though might make some sausage rolls.

Good morning!

Weather’s not too bad and I feel a bit better than yesterday

I think I’ll have a quick trip to the supermarket later this morning
I could manage with the food that I have in, but I haven’t driven my car for several days, so this will keep things moving, and I’ll buy a bit of fresh food like fruit

Then back home. I probably won’t do much, just read, and may well get under the duvet for a couple of hours

Good morning all :grinning: another gorgeous sunny day, windows wide open and a gentle breeze is flowing through the house.

Usual chores to do this morning then off to the dentist again this afternoon.

Enjoy your day folks…. don’t forget the sun cream!

Forgot to mention that I booked my car in for it’s 100000km service, it won’t be seen until 22nd July! I couldn’t believe it.

I was going to get them to do the rego test but the rego is due on the 14th July so will have to get it done at a local garage.

Labour shortages!

Bruce, what’s a ‘rego test’ please?

Good morning all.
Another cloudless blue sky with dazzling sunshine.
The dogs are mostly laying about indoors, they don’t like the heat. Mind you, I wouldn’t want to sit on red hot patio slabs with no pants or shoes on either! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I had a busy day yesterday, so am going to enjoy uninterrupted pottering in the peace and quiet of my garden today, unless it gets too hot later.

Be good.

Good morning everyone  it’s hot already. I don’t like the heat.
I have already been to the shops to buy things for a picnic with my son tomorrow.
We should have gone today but I have had two bad days so am catching up today before it gets hotter.

I have just cut the front lawn and will do the back later when it is shady.
Enjoy your day.

Road worthy test for annual vehicle registration

Ah, sounds the same sort of thing as our MOT then. An annual check to see if it is safe and roadworthy.
Ta Bruce. :slightly_smiling_face:

Morning all.

I got my food delivery yesterday so I’m  happy. Got a few new pens with the haul so I’m excited about that. I got loads of potato chips (crisps) so I’m set for a bit.

I’m doing some watering today. After that, the plan is for some rest.

Have a fantastic day everyone.

Good mid day folks,

It’s frightfully cold here. I had to work a bit these past two days even though I’m meant to be on annal leave.

Such is life…

@swimfeeders I hope you feel better soon!

Good evening all!

Like many of you have mentioned already, the sun is bright and warm.

Arrived home around 18:20 today and then cracked on with a bit of work. Assessments over the next few weeks in preparation for the end of the school year reports.

Too warm to put the oven on, so choosing to do a very light evening meal with the family - no cooking involved.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.

Here too.
This morning my wife and her friend had the hairdresser here. The friend has a little terrier, Gracie. She and Max get along famously. Anyway the hairdresser arrive to I scarpered with Max. for a very long walk. By the time I got back the hairdresser was wrapping up. Thatt was it. I didn’t stroll later - it was too hot. It’s still 22C at 20.00.

Sounds good to me! What flavours?
