Good morning dearly beloved A lovely sunny winter’s day.
Busy morning… when I got up my washing machine had finished washing all the clothes and bedding so I had to hang it all on the line.
After having breakfast, messed around for a bit before I went for my walk. I noticed something new on my return leg. In a recreation area there was a new pole connected only to one of the street’s power poles.
I wondered what the hell it was for when I had a flash of inspiration! It might be one of these new community batteries that soak up all the excess solar power produced during the day and store it for use either in a blackout or at night (don’t know).
I am assuming that the box behind the big box is the inverter and battery management system.
Anyone one got any better ideas? I couldn’t work out if it was connected to the low voltage lines (240volts AC) or the 22000volt line but assume it was the former, Next time I walk that way I will take a better camera - these were taken with my phone.
Ecojoule Ecostore could be a battery inverter which uses the same voltage stabilisation technology to improve power quality both on the grid and for PV solar consumers.??? (which was what you said,I think)
It’s a grey start to the day with high humidity. Weather forecast says it will sunny and warm again, reaching 23 DegC, which is cooler than it has been.
Not sure what’s happening today. Mrs G off to the hairdresser, some laundry needs doing. Beyond that, my day rests in the hands of my morning coffee.
I haven’t posted on here for a few days as really, nothing much has been happening, but I’m going into town very soon
I’d thought about walking in along the canal, but you can have too much of a good thing, so I’ll catch the bus
It’s my son - in - law’s birthday soon so I’ll get him a card –
And in a fit of inspiration I’ll get birthday cards for the rest of my family & friends up to Christmas;
there are 6 of them; and a book of stamps as well
Besides that I’ll do some shopping at the Community Shop, get a Mini Statement, and have a general mooch round
Bruce isn’t it obvious what that box on a pole is for? That is a box ready to explode if it detects anyone passing by riding a Kangaroo. So it seems to may have to take a different route on your daily excursions.
