Warm, wet, humid and overcast weather. It only got up into mid 20s after 21 overnight but the humidity is getting tiresome. Bucketed down after my son left. I think it has actually rained on more days this year than it hasn’t rained.
My son, dog and family left this arvo after helping me with a couple of jobs that I could not do by myself.
On the bright side I opened a box of Roses choccies
Today I’m meeting my friend Chris for a walk but I want to avoid a lot of sludge so I think we’ll go to Shipley Country park where they have defined paths. We have a 2 mile walk through the park to Shipley Garden Centre - have a look round there & lunch in their cafeteria. Then a 2 mile walk back.
Ady is taking Tony out for the day so I don’t have to worry about leaving him. It looks a bit frosty outside so I’ll be sorting out my thermals!
In work at the moment but finishing at 11.45pm. Taking Dad his Wednesday fish for his lunch and we’ll bring the world to rights like always.
He pulled a muscle in his thigh last week so I’ve been worrying about him as I worried it was sciatica as he was in a lot of pain on the first day. It’s eased a lot so I reckon he pulled a muscle getting out of bed that morning. He managed a walk yesterday first time in a week.
Walk Loki then meeting a friend for a Costa Coffee and chin wag at tea time,
That’s about all in my day today so I can chill after tea.
Have a good one all…good luck at the dreaded dentist Summer, I’d like to say I’ll go for you but I’d be lying LOL.
I was running late this morning, so Holly went to her daycarer half hour later than planned. But I managed to catch a decently early bus to Great Yarmouth, did a good amount of shopping and browsing, and was back home indoors by 3. That is with a 50 minute each way journey. And a little walk from my home to the main road.
Shall do beggar all this evening, watching telly and read my library book.
It’s been a gorgeous day here on the south coast like early spring.
My daffs are looking promising.
On my earlyish ( I think that’s a new word) walk this morning I saw aircraft carrier Prince of Wales out at sea.
