It is one of those places were you always buy something else, so I bought 20 litre bucket, a tape measure and some cable ties while I was there. Ho Hum…
Enjoy your Wednesday, I heard the UK is lovely and warm, I am very jealous.
It’s going to hit 34 degrees in West Sussex today - hence the early stroll!
We nipped down to The Ifield Mill Pond, my son wanted to pick some more wild blackberries for crumble
I was content to find shade and contemplate the view, kind of relaxing
It reminded me that I need to renew my fishing permits in readiness for Autumn. I need two, one generic permit from The Environment Agency and a second from the local angling club, not cheap, this thought isn’t entirely relaxing
Back to the matter in hand, blackberry season is nearly over, so early too!
Somewhat scraggy, no doubt the unusually dry, hot weather is responsible. Some are even ripening already. I don’t anticipate rich pickings foraging this Autumn!
