Good morning all, supposed to be a warm day in the low 30s
On my walk this morning I was tempted to take an umbrella because half the sky was all sunshine and roses the other dark clouds hanging over the escarpment.
That’s the bus stop and drop off point for one of the local high schools (100metres behind me) but it shows the cloud hanging about shrouding the top of the escarpment however by the time I had returned home it had all burned off into a sunny day.
The Corellas were out in force hanging about in some very tall trees (sorry about the shot - at the zoom limit of my phone)
When I returned home, before having my shower, I swept the footpath clear of grass debris with my blower - yesterday evening I used the whipper snipper to trim the edges. I tend to leave it and hope the wind blows it away but no such luck last night.
@Bruce Your sky sounds like it couldn’t decide what mood it was in this morning! I’m glad it turned into sunshine in the end.
Today I’ve brought my son to the hospital for an appointment. It’s quite hot here too, low 30s, and I’m already feeling a bit drained, definitely in need of an iced coffee before driving on to work
Wishing you all a happy, peaceful, and easy day ahead. Take care
Another grey start to the day. It’s not raining at the moment, but it looks like we’re in for some later. I just read that it’s officially rained every day this year, and there doesn’t seem to be an end it sight of it.
Not much going down today in my neck of the woods. The wife has designated today House Chores Day, which means tidying up and sorting some stuff out. My job is to replace her broken windscreen wipers she ordered (which is a story in itself), make the morning coffee and keep out the way.
Good afternoon everyone ,looks like most of you are in the same boat as me. Another miserable rainy day today, more to come tomorrow and for the rest of the week! I’m sure this Winter must be one of the wettest ever, but perhaps one of the “mildest” - I better not speak too soon, a long way to go yet.
Fitness class this morning and then home again without stopping anywhere in town as I had already done all my shopping yesterday. A day for staying in and apart from perusing the forum of course, I will be indulging in some episodes of Bridgerton, Season 2. I had left it for a while, not having been really impressed by the first season, but now I’m really getting into this second one, great, light, comfort watching!
I may watch some Olympics but I’m not too keen on the skiing, I find the ice-skating more interesting .
Let’s all hope for sunnier days. Maybe @Bruce and @Pimmy can send us some sun and warmer temperatures, a taste of early Spring would very much be appreciated, please?.
