It is all dark and mysterious here this morning - and rather chilly. Might have to put the CH on for a while.
Have a card to make to cheer up a friend who has had a heart attack and is just home from hospital. Her news came as a bit of a shock as she is a fitness fanatic - life long vegetarian, only eats organic food, walks/cycles everywhere, does Yoga and other exercise daily, and weighs half of nothing wringing wet through!

Damp here, I just hope it has stopped raining, for the dog walk. Talking of whom, she was quiet and settled next to me on the bed, till she started barking at my mouthy neighbour, went downstairs for some biscuits, and is now showing signs of might want to go out soon. I am nowhere near ready.
Tabby, that must have been a shock for your friend, falling ill despite a healthy lifestyle. I hope she will be ok.
Good morning everyone, just back from the hike with the hounds and taking five minutes to catch up on here before defrosting the freezer. Rain forecast for later but I’ve no plans for the garden so I don’t mind, I’ll waste an hour or two on a jigsaw instead.

I’m going a short walk with my friend Chris this morning round our local country park.
Afterwards - a visit to Tesco & lunch in Tesco cafe’
This afternoon it’s Nicks (our daughter Sue’s partners) birthday, so will be going there to wish him happy birthday & take him a present.
I don’t really like him very much because when I asked him for help with a computer problem he told me to take it to the PC repair shop!!
Ah well, anything to keep family harmony…

Yeah, I’m here too, so good morning everyone I’m running in slow mode today, so don’t expect swift responses from my direction coz it aint gonna happen, although I will prolly speed up later when I can shake this muzziness off. Muzzy days are one of my detractions and the rain today is not helping 
It would have been if I lived there. Anything below 22 degrees and I’m firing up the boiler. 
Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all. 
Very dull and overcast today, the forecast is for it to stay mild with light winds. Maximum temperature 12°C. Not too bad, at least the bitter cold feel has gone.
It’s the day for a trip to the supermarket to do the ‘big shop’, which I hate but has to be done. That’s when I have almost run out of all the necessities and happens every three or four weeks, that forces me to restock. It is a leftover from the lockdown habits I reckon.

Good morning everyone a dull wet day and off to a bad start when the 'relief ’ milkman left 2 days supply of skimmed milk to last me till Friday and I had to go out to the shops to buy milk .
I hate skimmed milk you might as well drink water so I had full fat Kafir and seeds on my porridge, the milkman can have the skimmed milk back when he comes on Friday.
I hope to clean the oven today , might have lunch first.
